Ariana is Denver grown with deep roots in the community, from her childhood in Park Hill to earning a BA in Sociology at the University of Colorado at Auraria. After spending many years in the restaurant industry, she decided to pursue a new path and enrolled in the cosmetology program at the Aveda Institute Denver. It was during her time there that Ariana recognized the unhealthy patterns embedded in the traditional salon industry, particularly in its culture and daily practices.

Determined to find a more authentic and meaningful approach to hairdressing, Ariana joined Alyssa at The Organic Salon Denver in 2018. Here, she discovered how the environmental impact of the salon industry could be reduced through sustainable products and practices. This process of approaching the salon industry differently led Ariana to question how she would like to see the industry improve. Inspired, Ariana decided to become a curly specialist so she could be the hairdresser for others that she had a hard time finding for herself as a curly haired human. Ariana further honed her skills by apprenticing with Jessica Lambert in 2019, specializing in curly cutting for all hair textures and custom, low-maintenance color techniques.

Passionate about helping clients embrace their natural beauty, Ariana focuses on each unique head of curls to create personalized cuts and colors that reflect each individual’s personal vibe. She believes that true empowerment comes from self-acceptance, and she is dedicated to guiding clients through the process of discovering and celebrating their authentic look.
